Karma G. holds a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has been a board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist since 2006. His intuitive, kind approach to healing, and his understanding of the causes and effects of different foods in the body, from simple to complex diseases, has been life-altering for his clients.

Karma G. is also a life-long martial artist, and innovator in the field of deep meditation and consciousness exploration. His teachings and wellness system were designed specifically for the modern person, to have access to rapid, profound, and measurable changes in their body, mind, and emotions.

His greatest passion is in teaching, mentoring, and empowering people to live a life full of joy and compassion towards themselves and others.

Mona is an award-winning screenwriter, director and producer. Mona is Karma G.’s little sister, and feels lucky to have been one of his very first students.

On a quest to deepen her own knowledge of contemplative practices, Mona moved to Upaya Zen Center in 2012, where she trained in meditation, altruism. and retreat-style cooking, in the Path of Service program. She’s been practicing Food-As-Medicine, and teaching meditation to adults and youth ever since—at conferences, nonprofits, schools, camps, and in workshop settings. Mona also offers private sessions where she utilizes fortune-telling and symbology to offer intuitive insight and guidance to clients.

Mona is a life-long activist, artist, and educator focused on empathy-based creative expression for social-justice and change.
